The wording “Intellectual and Industrial Property”, as pertaining to ITER website, refers to the complex of rights recognised and protected by the applicable national and international laws, including, but not limited to, – with respect to every State in the world and without any limitation in time – every licence (including the right to file the application), present and future copyright, decorative model and/or design, utility model, trade and/or service mark (whether registered or de facto used by ITER), know-how, domain name, database and all their applications.

The wording “Materials” is referred to every content in the site, including, but not limited to, text, images, graphic designs, files, any type of software, audio and video materials, virtual animations, media and hypertextual elements. All of those regardless of their format, their extension, their size, their current version and the techniques used for their distribution and dissemination.

The Materials posted on the website in its open access section can be freely quoted, provided the source, the author ITER and the web address are credited.

To insert material in other sites, a written request – made via the online form in the “Contacts” section – is required.

Press Review. The title and the content of the published news and of the Press Releases can be reproduced, possibly after revision. Reference to the website would be appreciated.

Databases and biographical: every right on databases and biographical information posted on the site (e.g. newsletters, informative notes, regulations, professional profiles, etc) is confidential.
